Lincs2Nepal

Lincs2Nepal founded by Garry Goddard in 2009 runs a number of life changing projects throughout Nepal. Lincs2Nepal is a 100% voluntary charity dedicated to improving the education, health and general development of families in the poorer communities of Nepal.

One of the charities projects is the Jeevan Jyoti School…

“We do not offer a token education, our children are already attaining results among the top 5% in the country. Jeevan Jyoti is also a mixed caste school with half of our children coming from the lower caste Dalit and Tharu tribes. This is in itself groundbreaking as there is no segregation, our children learn together, sit together, eat together and play together, breaking the existing caste system for these children.

Lincs2Nepal set up the Chitwan nutrition and education project in 2016. Providing kitchen equipment, trained cooks and ingredients in three of the schools available to children in the rural area of Chitwan. The area was hit badly by flooding meaning hundreds of children are having to walk for several hours to get to school. Then some have no food all day. Thankfully the charities project has enabled hundreds of children and teachers to receive a free school meal everyday.

“Our ultimate aim is to allow the underprivileged children of Nepal to develop and break out of the life destined for them in their disadvantaged communities. As they grow and develop, so will the community around them.”
